The mission of the Information Technology Department is to create, nurture and promote an educational and intellectual culture that provides opportunities for undergraduate students to acquire knowledge and develop technical and soft skills that enable deeper and more productive understanding of modern technological era.

• To impart substantial knowledge of a broad class of problem-solving techniques which includes algorithms, heuristics, and design techniques and clear understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science.

• To have sufficient understanding of the theoretical underpinnings of Computer Science such that learning new programming languages, operating system, or information systems.
